You will be liaising with Internal and other external stakeholders, consultants, contractors, residents, leaseholders and management organisations.

The blocks are intended to be worked on in phases and there will be overlaps between start and finish between the respective blocks. It is intended for the scaffold to be provided and removed to suit those phases and moved around the site accordingly.

Resident Liaison Officer Requirements:

The Resident Liaison Officer (RLO) is to have the following minimum requirements:

• Experienced (minimum 2 years) with a relevant track record of acting in the role for a similar size development and project.
• Proven communication, listening and consultation skills with residents, contractors and other relevant external bodies. Able to work with people from a variety of backgrounds keeping residents informed and taking an active interest in their concerns over the project. Anticipate and seek quick effective resolutions of issues and disputes as they arise.
• An ability to understand construction work and the impact this has on residents, conveying information correctly in a straightforward, equitable and approachable way.
• Be organised in carrying out administrative duties, able to work collaboratively and efficiently helping to find solutions relevant to the needs of residents and delivery of the project.
• Be familiar with health, safety and security impacts of construction work and to recognise issues for escalation if, and as, they impact directly on residents.
• Demonstrate an understanding of collecting and working with personal data and the requirement of data protection (i.e. compliance with General Data Protection Regulations 2018).

Have good knowledge of residents’ rights and the requirement to deliver a construction contract to an agreed programme.
