Contracts Manager

Sentri Group is working with a successful regional main contractor based in South West London and operating throughout London delivering schemes to £10m in the public and private sectors are looking to appoint a Contracts Manager.

Reporting to the Construction Director, you will be responsible for successfully leading projects (usually between 3-6 depending on size and complexity) in collaboration with all disciplines within the business. The desired result is to produce good quality products on schedule, safely and profitably, resulting in satisfied clients.

Delivering New Build, Design & Build and Refurbishment schemes across a variety of sectors including Education, Residential, Healthcare, and Commercial via competitive tender and framework agreements the client is looking to appoint a Contracts Manager with stable employment history and already proven within the Contracts Manager role.

Able to work collaboratively with other departments and with the ability to manage and mentor site staff you will be client-focused and commercially astute and looking for a long term opportunity with a successful and profitable privately owned contractor.

Resident Liaison Officer

Sentri Group are looking For a Residential Liaison officer to join a residential development in Surrey, which consists of a series of 3 interlinked blocks of flats around a central courtyard with adjacent separate houses in the facing access road. Numbers 10 – 58 constitute the 3 interlinked blocks, block A to the west, B to the north and C to the east and this repair program relates to them.

You will be liaising with Internal and other external stakeholders, consultants, contractors, residents, leaseholders and management organisations.

The blocks are intended to be worked on in phases and there will be overlaps between start and finish between the respective blocks. It is intended for the scaffold to be provided and removed to suit those phases and moved around the site accordingly.

Resident Liaison Officer Requirements:

The Resident Liaison Officer (RLO) is to have the following minimum requirements:

  • Experienced (minimum 2 years) with a relevant track record of acting in the role for a similar size development and project.
  • Proven communication, listening and consultation skills with residents, contractors and other relevant external bodies. Able to work with people from a variety of backgrounds keeping residents informed and taking an active interest in their concerns over the project. Anticipate and seek quick effective resolutions of issues and disputes as they arise.
  • An ability to understand construction work and the impact this has on residents, conveying information correctly in a straightforward, equitable and approachable way.
  • Be organised in carrying out administrative duties, able to work collaboratively and efficiently helping to find solutions relevant to the needs of residents and delivery of the project.
  • Be familiar with health, safety and security impacts of construction work and to recognise issues for escalation if, and as, they impact directly on residents.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of collecting and working with personal data and the requirement of data protection (i.e. compliance with General Data Protection Regulations 2018).
Have good knowledge of residents’ rights and the requirement to deliver a construction contract to an agreed programme.
