Sentri Group is currently working with a regional main contractor operating across London and the South East who are looking to appoint Quantity Surveyor.
As the Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will work very closely with the Commercial lead on schemes throughout London ranging from £2m - £10m, across Commercial, Residential and Mixed-Use sectors.
They pride themselves on being a forward-thinking, innovative company that are focused on quality, delivery, relationships and cost-effective methods of building for their clients on a range of schemes in the residential and commercial sectors.
Ideal Experience
- RC Frames, Basements, Groundworks & Hard Landscaping
- Contracts ranging from £2,000,000 to £10,000,000 in value
Key roles and responsibilities:
- Overseeing day to day management of construction projects
- Assisting with project programming & programme delivery
- Manage labour and materials in line with contract requirements
- Prepare and oversee tenders and contract delivery
- Oversee the preparation, submit, and agree on main contract valuations, variations and prepare commercial reports for revue in a timely fashion
- Understanding and managing project costs, cost controls and risk management
- Ensure accurate commercial records are constantly maintained
- Attend meetings with client / professional team and carry out on-site surveys and visits as required.
- Co-ordinating between Directors, and multiple construction sites
- Looking for ways to improve efficiencies
Ideally, you will need to have the following skills and attributes:
- Great organisation and efficiency
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated with a hands-on approach
- Great working knowledge of Microsoft office products
- Strong commercial awareness

On offer for this Quantity Surveyor role is a basic salary of up to £75,000 per annum plus, travel allowance, pension, and healthcare and bonus.

Project Director
A Project Director with a proven track record of delivering London based schemes more than £50m, is required by a leading regional main contractor, to be based on their office in Central London.
You will be required to look after one mixed-use scheme, with a combined value of c.£100m made up of Residential, Education and Retail projects.
As a member of the Senior Management Team, the position will be working closely with the Regional Director; and you will be responsible for delivering projects from initial tender enquiry through to final account across Education, Residential, Commercial and Leisure sectors.

- A Commercial view on construction, including a sound understanding of contract formulation, both Subcontract and Client Contracts, respectively.
- A clear understanding of people management and subcontract management
- You will be contractually aware and possess good technical knowledge. Health & Safety will be one of your key priorities and you will demonstrate the ability to offer strong guidance to Site and Project Managers as and when required.
The client is seeking to appoint an individual who is proven within a Project Director / Leader role and has a track record of delivering larger projects, coupled with a stable employment history gained working for recognised main contractors.

On offer for the successful Project Director is a salary of £100,000 - £150,000 p.a. plus car allowance, health care, pension, and bonus scheme.

Commercial Director
Sentri Group is supporting an established and fast-growing Main Contractor who operates across the Residential, Commercial, Leisure and Student Accommodation sectors to find a Commercial Director.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Commercial Manager who has an in-depth understanding of working for a main contractor to join an established and growing main contractor operating across London.

Your role will be providing commercial expertise for both the client and the Main Contractor reporting on contract commercial performance to the Director. Familiarisation with JCT and NEC forms of contracts, strong cost management skills and building rapport with client and sub-contractors will all be looked for skills.
The successful Commercial Manager / Director can expect a salary of between £90,000 - £110,000 per annum plus car allowance, pension, healthcare, flexible working, and bonus scheme they will also consider flexible working hours and arrangements.
